Come and enjoy the longest running show in the history of Broadway and winner of 7 Tony Awards including Best Musical! The show tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with Christine and devotes himself to making her a star by nurturing her talents.
Youth Musical Theatre's Director, Raymond Saar and our Musical Director, Diane Ketchie, were in the Broadway and San Francisco productions of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and both worked directly with the original Broadway Director of the show, Harold Prince (winner of 21 Tony Awards) as well as with the original Choreographer, the legendary Dame Gillian Lynne.
